This Agreement sets out the terms on which CribX makes its platform available to you (the “Provider”) to list, promote, sell, and deliver services to students and other customers, in Ghana, the United States, and any other market CribX serves.
It applies whether the Provider is an individual, a sole trader, or a registered business, and whether the services are delivered in person, online, or both.
Subject to this Agreement, CribX will provide the Provider with:
CribX is a marketplace. It is not a party to the service contract between the Provider and the customer and does not guarantee any number of bookings, customers, or revenue.
The Provider must be at least 18 years old, legally able to offer the services listed, and hold any licence, registration, or permit those services require in the place where they are delivered.
Before publishing a service the Provider must verify their phone number and submit identity documents. CribX may request further documents, and may suspend or remove a Provider whose information is inaccurate, fraudulent, or misleading.
The Provider is responsible for keeping their account secure and for all activity under it.
The Provider will describe each service, its packages, prices, duration, delivery method (in person, online, or both), and the city or school they serve accurately and completely.
Services delivered online may be shown to customers in other countries. The Provider is responsible for being able to deliver the service to those customers, including in their language, time zone, and applicable law.
In-person services are shown to customers in the area the Provider serves. CribX may change how and where listings are displayed to keep the marketplace relevant and safe.
The Provider agrees to:
Repeated cancellations, no-shows, or poor delivery may lead to reduced visibility, suspension, or removal.
The Provider sets their own prices in their local currency. For each completed booking CribX deducts a platform commission, at the rate published in the Provider’s dashboard when the booking is made, before paying out the balance.
Customer payments are held by CribX or its payment partners and released to the Provider after the service is completed and confirmed, or after the review period for the booking ends without a dispute.
The Provider is responsible for their own taxes, licences, and reporting obligations. Payment-processing charges, bank or mobile-money fees, currency conversion costs, and withholding required by law may be deducted or passed on as shown at the time.
CribX may review and change its commission and fees from time to time and will give reasonable notice before a material change takes effect. Continued use after the effective date is acceptance of the change, subject to applicable law.
The Provider will not ask customers to pay outside the platform, or move a booking found through CribX off the platform, to avoid the commission or to bypass the protections it provides.
The Provider must not:
If a customer reports a problem, CribX may hold the related payment while the issue is reviewed, ask both sides for evidence, and decide whether to refund the customer, pay the Provider, or split the amount. The Provider agrees to cooperate in good faith and accepts CribX’s decision on payments made through the platform, without limiting rights either side has under law.
Each Party will comply with applicable data-protection and privacy laws. The Provider will use customer information obtained through CribX only to deliver the booked service, and will not sell, misuse, or unlawfully disclose it.
The Provider is solely responsible for the services they deliver and for any loss, injury, or damage caused by them. To the extent the law allows, CribX is not liable for the Provider’s services or for indirect or consequential loss, and CribX’s total liability to the Provider is limited to the commission it received on the booking in question.
The Provider will compensate CribX for claims, losses, and costs arising from the Provider’s breach of this Agreement or unlawful conduct.
Either Party may terminate this Agreement by giving 5 days’ written notice to the other.
CribX may suspend or terminate the Provider’s access immediately where the Provider:
Termination does not affect obligations that accrued before it, including confirmed bookings (which must be honoured or properly cancelled) and amounts already owed.
The Parties are independent contracting parties. Nothing in this Agreement creates a partnership, joint venture, employment, or agency relationship between CribX and the Provider.
This Agreement is governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Ghana, without limiting any mandatory consumer-protection rights that apply to customers in their own country.
By clicking “Agree”, the Provider confirms that they have read, understood, and agreed to the terms of this Agreement.
You'll be asked to accept this agreement when you set up your provider account.
